    Our vehicle's condition is graded as below;

      No scratches or dents
      PicknBuy24.com recommends vehicles graded between 6 and 4. (Drivable as is!)

      Excellent condition
      There may be some slight scratches or very small dents
      4 Very good condition
      There may be some small scratches or small dents
      Interior of vehicle may require some cleaning. Engine is fine.
      3 Good condition
      There may be some scratches and dents Interior may require cleaning.
      Engine may require some attention (e.g. change oil, check plugs, check battery etc.)

      May require some repair to exterior. But engine still sound.

    • Cost of the vehicle if the vessel sinks, catches fire, or destroyed totally
          during transit
    • Cost of "general average"
          (i.e. cost of salavation if vessel is rescued before sinking)
    • Cost of any parts stolen, or replacement of any parts stolen, during transit
    • Cost of any damage incurred during transit

    Warranty is valid whilst the vehicle is on the vessel only.
    (i.e. Warranty ceases once the vehicle departs from the vessel's gate.)

    The above accidents do not occur often, however they do occur unexpectedly.
    Why take the risk of losing your hard earned money?

    Q5 What is stereo installation?

    Some vehicles arrive to our stock yards without stereos. The original owners have removed them for their next vehicle.

    You should check for stereo installation if you wish to have a stereo in the vehicle when it arrives.

We will advise shipment details once the vehicle is confirmed for shipment by the shipping companies. Please keep a note of the arrival date and confirm with the local shipping agent in case the arrival date has been changed.

    JAAI inspection required!


    What is JAAI (Japan Auto Appraisal Institute) inspection?

    JAAI, established in 1966 under the approval of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Transport.
    JAA's export inspections has gained the recognition of foreign countries. Over the three-year period since the abolishment of the export inspection system in Japan, JAAI has inspected approximately 250,000 vehicles.

    JAAI inspection will be required for the vehicles to be exported to Kenya and Tanzania.

    This may take up to 10 days depending on how busy the inspectors are.
    Booking of your vehicle for shipment will be arranged once the JAAI inspection is completed.

    Please pay the JAAI Inspection fee of US$300 at the same time of payment for your vehicle.

     
    Q2 For Mozambique clients

    MOZ number required!

    MOZ number is;
    To import and register a vehicle in Mozambique, we will issue a new proforma invoice with the engine number.
    So you will be able to ask MOZ number for Interek Inspection.

    Contact your local Intertek Office and apply for the MOZ number accordingly.

    • And send us the MOZ number by e-mail or facsimile as soon as you can.
    • Upon receipt of your MOZ number, we will be able to arrange Intertek inspection.
    This may take up to 10 days depending on how busy the inspectors are.
    Booking of your vehicle for shipment will be arranged once the Intertek inspection is completed.”
     
    Q3 For Malawi clients

    There are no left hand drive Japanese vehicles in Japan, only European and American models. Left hand drive vehicles are too difficult to source.

    Please consult with your local spare parts dealer as it is much cheaper and quicker to find the requested parts in your region.

    We can not add accessories except for stereos.

    Many Japanese drivers love their vehicles and cannot wait to change their vehicle for the new shape models.
    Most models undergo change of shapes every five years. Also, the registration system here in Japan is very expensive, at an average cost of US$1,200 per year. After 9 years it does not become worth the cost to register such a vehicle.

    Therefore many Japanese drivers prefer to change to new models.
     
    Q9 Why is mileage(KM) so low?

    Many Japanese people travel to work on the train or bus. There are very few parking spaces in Japan, so it is not convenient to drive to work.
    Besides, the train systems in Japan are so efficient you can set your watch by the train timetables. Since many Japanese employees work late, there is not much chance to drive their vehicles during the weekdays.

    That leaves only the weekends to enjoy driving their vehicles. The average Japanese car travels approx. 8,000km per year.

    Our claim clause is as below;

    Claim and Compensations
    1. No claim shall be accepted unless;

    a.   the FOB amount of the vehicle purchased is above US$1,500

    b.   claimed damages is above US$300
          (the Buyer shall bear US$299 as a repair cost per car);

    c.   the age of the vehicle is less than 10 years;

    d.   for engine and transmission trouble, the number of miles driven of the vehicle
          is less 100,000km.

    e.   the Buyer notify the Seller of any claim in detail in writing within 7 days after the
          arrival of the vehicle at the destination specified in the bill of lading;

    f.   the following documents are presented by e-mail or facsimile with in 7days after
         the notice in  subparagraph e , above ; port authority’s report of any damage or
          missing items from the vehicle, a reputable local garage’s report and quotation
          in U.S. dollar currency for repairs, and photos of any damage
    2. The Seller shall not be liable for;

    a.   interior damages that are judged as minor and non-need of mention or invisible
          (including without limitation scratches, cigar burns, stains and cuts);

    b.   missing or damaged interior equipments
          (including without limitation shift knobs, head rests, sun shades, spare tires,
          jack tool kits, floor mats, cigarette lighter, and remote controls);

    c.   exterior damages that are judged as minor and non-need of mention or invisible
          (including without limitation scratches, tiny dents, holes and small rust); or

    d.   snow tires after market alloy wheels not mentioned or missing wheel lock nut

    e.   any consumable parts including without limitation oil, fuel, tire tread,
          air-conditioning gas, etc
